Lithia Loop, Ashland Watershed Loop, Loop Rd. call it what you will, it doesn’t disappoint. This ride, while physically challenging, is a great way to experience the Ashland Watershed if you're not looking to ride technical trails and or would like to get more miles in. Deep in the woods, with grand views of the surrounding mountains, it is hard to believe you're less than ten miles from downtown.

The ride consists of a solid climb followed by a flatish/rolly section and then a ripping descent. Most of this route is closed to motorized use allowing you to relax and take in more of the sights and sounds of nature. Keep in mind you’ll be up at 5,000 ft. and the narrow road cut can be snowy/icy for weeks during shoulder seasons.

It can be ridden in either direction, and either way you can choose to descend on single track. More info on the RWGPS page.
