Honey Badger Strada Biancha

  • 120 South 11th Street Montague, CA, 96064 United States (map)

A mixed gravel/paved ride through wide open landscapes with scenic views along quiet roads. This is a good winter ride both for the distance and elevation gain, as well as having multiple points where you can choose to cut the ride short. No fee to ride, and as with most Honey Badgers you'll want a bike with at least 32mm tires (wider is better!) and a GPS (or buddy up with someone who has one). There is public parking at Cowboy Statute Railroad Park.

This route will not be marked, so you'll want to have the GPX file downloaded or ride with someone who does. The suggested routes which you can find GPX tracks for are below. As already mentioned there are a options to make the ride shorter. By taking Ball Mountain Little Shasta Road or Lower Little Shasta Road you can out about ten miles making the shorter loop just under thirty miles in total.

Long Route

  • 52 miles/3,200 ft. elev

Short Route

  • 40 miles/1,700 ft. elev.

Even shorter

  • 27.5 miles/1,300 ft. elev.
